About The Position

Bluestone is currently looking to fill an IT Systems Analyst position within our organization. This individual will work with the VP of Technology to coordinate overall technology infrastructure by assisting in analyzing and improving systems to ensure efficiency. This individual must have working knowledge of the installation, functions, configuration and capabilities of Windows servers, SAN’s, desktops, laptops, networks, backup/replication/virtualization software, company-wide email system and other related technology software and systems. Prior experience with Fortigate firewalls, Powershell, Office 365 and VMware preferred. What we look for in a potential candidate is someone that has effective analytical and decision-making skills, has a willingness to learn and help and, most importantly, can build relationships with our partners, vendors and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, monitor the credit union and CUSO’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), wireless network, phone system hardware and software and any other related systems to ensure they are operational
  • Deploy, manage and monitor all servers, storage area networks (SAN), laptops, desktops and other peripherals, maintaining effective system imaging, deployment and patch management processes. Use virtualization and company-wide email system software capabilities
  • Research and diagnose IT problems within the entire infrastructure; troubleshoot, resolve and/or provide solutions
  • Coordinate assistance from third party vendors when necessary
  • Monitor and run backup/replication procedures
  • Assist in preparation of IT budget
  • Responsible for the service of equipment and systems, including maintenance of software licenses
  • Assist in development, application, and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and documentation including SOP’s, guides and configurations for firewalls, switches, backups, Racktop and VPN.
  • Train credit union and CUSO staff on effective use of online services, Intranet and other provided technology
  • Assist in testing and updating of the disaster recovery plan
  • Participate in the evaluation, development and implementation of computer security and loss prevention controls
  • Assist with audit and exam discovery and remediations.
  • Act as backup help desk support and assist on escalations as needed
