About The Position

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Worldwide Field Sustainment Army Watercraft Systems mission at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The selected candidate will provide enterprise level software support, asset management, reporting, and systems administration support for mission critical Army systems and logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Systems, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience OR 12 years of equivalent technical experience without a degree
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting DoD enterprise systems, logistics systems, cyber enabled platforms, or asset management environments
  • Experience supporting systems in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF requirements
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Experience using ServiceNow and OAMS interfaces
  • Experience with WASP Inventory Cloud or similar warehouse and inventory management systems
  • Experience with Python and Visual Basic programming
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
  • Experience supporting asset accountability, inventory tracking, and logistics workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to support cyber workforce qualification requirements aligned to assigned DoD 8140 work role categories
  • Active Secret Clearance Required
  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Top-Secret Clearance Required
  • Candidates must meet qualification requirements in accordance with DoD 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification Program requirements
  • Candidates must possess one of the following certifications at time of hire: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
  • Certification requirements may vary based on assigned work role and Government customer requirements

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, test, and modify enterprise systems and applications software
  • Perform all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Analyze business and operational requirements to develop technical solutions
  • Create and maintain software models, workflows, and system documentation
  • Perform software updates, testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities
  • Develop reports and dashboards supporting operational and management requirements
  • Maintain relationships between assets within the Single Interface to the Field supporting the Incident Reporting Module
  • Create and maintain Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications tools for data verification and asset management
  • Perform Quality Assurance reviews on Incident Reports submitted by Contractor Field Service Representatives
  • Analyze labor reporting data and generate monthly performance metrics for leadership review
  • Support ServiceNow, OAMS interfaces, and asset accountability systems
  • Maintain inventory accountability and warehouse tracking within the WASP Inventory Management Cloud platform
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and executive level reporting products
  • Support collaboration efforts using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet
