About The Position

The San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Systems Analyst/Programmer. This promotional / open opportunity is open to all interested candidates. The Systems Analyst/Programmer will plan, install, program and modify computer systems for the performance of administrative activities and for the collection and analysis of administrative information.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college with a major in Information Systems or related field, including or supplemented by courses in systems analysis and programming.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
  • Complete online employment application with all required attachments, current and previous employment history and education.
  • Provide contact information for all previous places of employment where you served in a classified (non-certificated) position.
  • Provide a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school and/or state special school (also known as a Local Education Agency (LEA)) with which you have previously been employed, regardless of the length of service.
  • Provide the email address for that employer's Human Resources or Personnel Office.
  • List contact information for three references, preferably from a current or previous supervisor.
  • Attach Verification of Education (Copy of a degree or official transcript, Copy of Licenses and/or Certifications).
  • Individuals who have completed high school or college-level coursework at an institution in a country other than the United States must provide a Foreign Equivalency Certification.

Responsibilities
