The Systems Analyst II plans and configures low- to moderate-complexity software systems to support the administrative function of the University under moderate supervision. This may include departmental and moderately critical applications. Assists in the development of processes. Creates workflows. Installs, configures, supports, and maintains integrations for vendor-supplied software systems. Works on a team and collaborates with specific departments, colleges, and customers around campus. Supports their needs, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and responding to their questions and concerns in a timely manner. May provide guidance and training to entry-level Systems Analysts. Provides application and systems administration for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other healthcare IT systems. Manages EHR development and testing, modifications, and system upgrade deployments. Develops custom reporting for the enterprise to departments and other agencies. Maintains detailed documentation articulating user enhancement requests. Works with Health IT team members to develop solutions that are cost-effective, efficient, and focused for the clinical practice. Interprets and develops functional requirements as they relate to user requests for system enhancements under general supervision. Interacts with all level of users throughout the organization to clarify and verify requirements at all stages of analysis, design, and implementation. Innovates in diagnosing issues and suggesting new ideas or modifications to existing systems. Travels to various locations including satellite clinics to provide technical and end-user support for EHR and Health IT systems.
