About The Position

This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of any of the Mayo Clinic campuses for on-site expectations based on business needs. The role plans, manages, and facilitates the installation and support of small and medium software projects or systems across multiple business systems within the Enterprise Revenue Cycle. The position may lead teams for small to medium projects, provide project documentation for design and workflows, and develop design decisions. Responsibilities include engaging in system enhancement testing, validating testing quality, and working with stakeholders in Revenue Cycle, IT, and Operations. The role ensures billing scenarios are built for testing and collaborates with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues. It supports Systems Analyst III and Senior Systems Analysts, conducts business analyses, and designs, implements, tests, and manages installations of new and existing programs, websites, workflows, reports, or tables. The analyst initiates solutions by understanding Enterprise Revenue Cycle data and database structure to resolve complex issues, troubleshoots systems software and technical issues, and oversees resolutions. They assist in redesigning systems and workflows, participate in computer system acquisition discussions, estimate non-IT resource allocation, and develop project timelines. The role leads and coordinates business meetings, recommends and prioritizes software enhancements, and provides guidance on Revenue Cycle process improvements. Additionally, it mentors and develops staff, documents changed processes, and ensures changes are incorporated into training and internal control materials. The position is accountable for maintaining a control environment to uphold Mayo Clinic's Standard of Ethics and minimize risks, ensuring systems comply with federal and state requirements, and staying updated on regulatory changes. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
