About The Position

Responsible for administering and maintaining user access to payer portals and related Revenue Cycle applications in accordance with organizational security standards, access management procedures, and vendor requirements. Serves as a primary point of contact for staff and leaders requesting new access, access modifications, role changes, and account deactivations across Revenue Cycle and other supported departments. Works directly with requestors, managers, vendors, and operational stakeholders to gather information, validate access requirements, and ensure timely provisioning of appropriate portal permissions. Assists users with account setup, authentication issues, password resets, multi-factor authentication enrollment, profile configuration, and other access-related troubleshooting activities. Coordinates with vendors and internal support teams to investigate and resolve user access issues while maintaining compliance with established security and audit requirements. Performs audits, monitoring, and maintenance activities to ensure portal access remains accurate, current, and aligned with business need and least-privilege principles. Maintains records, documentation, procedures, and tracking mechanisms related to access requests, approvals, security reviews, and user support activities. Assists with periodic access reviews and remediation efforts to support regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements. May participate in testing payer portal enhancements, updates, and vendor releases to validate access functionality and user experience prior to implementation. Assists with the development of user guidance, training materials, and standard operating procedures related to portal access and account management processes. Supports System Analyst II, III, and Senior Systems Analysts by performing research, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and operational support activities related to access management and supported technologies. Participates in project teams and completes assigned tasks within established timelines. Reports and escalates issues as appropriate while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and resolution plans. Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a strong control environment to protect organizational information, support regulatory compliance, and minimize operational, financial, and security risk. Maintains a high level of customer service while managing multiple priorities and responding to changing operational needs. Works with minimal supervision and may be required to support activities outside normal business hours as needed.

Requirements

  • High school or GED
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Timely in responses to requests for service/information
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Able to work independently

  • Knowledge of physician and hospital billing systems for governmental, managed care, and commercial payers

  • Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification
