Systems Analyst Advisor
About The Position
The Systems Analyst Advisor is responsible for defining functional, usability, reliability, performance and supporting requirements of a system. This role provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. The advisor partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction. They will also work with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and perform estimates for application functionality enhancements. Proactively working with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements and developing use cases are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
- Six (6) years in any occupation with IT or related experience.
- Experience in the health insurance industry
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) or cloud-based application solutions
- Database experience including reading and writing basic SQL queries and data modeling
- Experience collaborating with business owners, documenting requirements and building test cases for enterprise large scale IT projects
- Experience with master data management technologies and concepts
- Experience with large scale data integration and related tools such as Informatica
- Experience with architectural and design documents
- Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements or designing documents while partnering with development leads.
