About The Position

Endurance IT Services is seeking a Systems Administrator or Junior Systems Engineer to support a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, focused on supporting small-to-mid-sized business (SMB) clients, maintaining Microsoft 365 environments, and contributing to infrastructure and server-related projects. This role operates in a client-facing MSP environment and requires flexibility to work onsite in Mechanicsville, VA four days per week, with occasional work-from-home options as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure, Help Desk, or Desktop Support roles
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Windows environments
• Basic understanding of networking concepts; willingness to learn (training available)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills, with patience and attention to user needs
• Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting multiple clients or working in an MSP environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for SMB clients (10–50 users)
• Assist with Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration, including migrations and implementations
• Support data center hosting environments and client infrastructure
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
• Troubleshoot technical issues and guide end users toward effective solutions
• Participate in onboarding new client environments and service setups
• Contribute to server and infrastructure-related project work
• Ensure reliable day-to-day operation of client systems and environments
• Coordinate tasks and priorities across multiple client environments
