About The Position
We are looking for a motivated System Administrator ready to take us to the next level! If you have Core VMware and VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter Server) experience and are looking for your next career move, apply now. We are looking for a System Administrator to be responsible for VMware vSphere installation, configuration, and management. This position will be full-time and onsite in Fort Meyers, FL.
Requirements
- Core VMware
- Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Knowledge of security best practices and hardening procedures
- Patch management and upgrade planning experience
- Documentation skills for procedures and infrastructure diagrams
- Scripting: PowerShell, Ansible experience
Responsibilities
- VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter Server) - installation, configuration, and management
- SAN and traditional storage management
- Virtual machine provisioning, templates, and lifecycle management
- Performance monitoring and capacity planning
- Storage: SAN/NAS technologies (Dell EMC, Pure Storage, etc.)
- Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, load balancing (F5)
- Backup/Recovery: Veeam
- Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration
