About The Position

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing system performance, availability, and reliability. This role involves supporting on-premises AD integrated with Microsoft Entra ID, managing hybrid-joined and cloud-joined devices, and overseeing the IAM and user identity lifecycle. Key tasks include GPO-to-Intune profile conversions, managing Windows devices using Microsoft Intune, and handling device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments. The administrator will also manage device enrollment, lifecycle, and remote troubleshooting, implement and maintain security controls, and assist with security audits and incident response. This position provides escalated support for complex issues, creates system documentation, and trains staff on system use and best practices. Collaboration with IT leadership on infrastructure planning and modernization is expected, along with recommending system improvements. Staying current with Microsoft cloud technologies, endpoint management, and cybersecurity is crucial. Occasional after-hours support may be required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability
Support on-premises AD integrated with Microsoft Entra ID

Assist with security audits, risk assessments, and incident response
Provide escalated support to resolve complex system and device issues
Create and maintain system documentation, standards, and procedures
Train staff on system use, security best practices, and new technologies
Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure planning and modernization initiatives
Recommend and implement system improvements to enhance reliability, security, and scalability
Stay current with Microsoft cloud technologies, endpoint management trends, and cybersecurity best practices
Occasional after hours support
