About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking highly skilled Systems Administrators to support the 96 TW at Eglin AFB, FL. As a Systems Administrator, your duties include, but are not limited to: Perform daily system administration activities, including maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for network infrastructure. Oversee and manage voice and data infrastructure upgrades to improve system performance, capacity, and reliability. Install, configure, maintain, and support virtual and physical servers, network devices, and associated hardware and software. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, procedures, and security requirements for mission-critical systems. Configure and maintain the Common Access Card (CAC) infrastructure using Axway Validation Authority for secure user authentication. Manage RSA Token authentication for classified network access. Perform system patching using Ivanti and ensure compliance with security updates and vulnerability remediation requirements. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate monitoring of critical services and improve system availability. Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain system documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Provide technical support to end users and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Support technology refresh initiatives, system modernization efforts, and future infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
Level 2 - BS in applicable field and up to 3 years of experience
Level 3 - BS in applicable field and 3-10 years of experience
Level 4 - BS or MS in applicable field and 10+ years of experience
Possession of an approved DoW 8140‑aligned certification appropriate for the Intermediate proficiency level (e.g., Security+, CCNA, Linux+, or other role‑approved certifications as defined by the organization’s 8140 implementation guidance)
Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation. Must be able to maintain required clearance.
