Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Experience administering Linux and Windows systems, managing virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM, or similar), and software platforms (Splunk)
  • Experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Experience optimizing system operations and performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Ability to provide Tiers 1 & 2 support
  • Knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 15 years of experience with systems administration or a HS Diploma and 20 years of experience with systems administration
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrates the development of a system of interest (encompassing hardware and/or software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project.
  • Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.
