About The Position

At Summit TRC, we are focused on solving complex problems in defense and space domains. We are seeking to add a Systems Administrator to our 24/7 Mission Operations team. This role will provide support to the warfighter by troubleshooting and solving issues related to UAS systems, software, and networks during off-shift hours. THIS ROLE WILL BE REMOTE ON 2ND/3RD SHIFT AND MUST SIT IN HUNTSVILLE

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with an active security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours (Three 12s or four 10s schedules available)
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with common operating systems (Linux, Windows) and software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Candidates must be available for 4 weeks of onsite training in Huntsville, AL, prior to transitioning to remote work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure data flow continuity
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on technology trends and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Linux servers, ensuring system integrity and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in real-time.
• Monitor and manage video feed distribution, focusing on unicast and multicast protocols.
• Document troubleshooting processes and system configurations for future reference.
