About The Position

Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Requirements

  • Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with MS/MA
  • A DoW TS/SCI clearance is required
  • DoW 8570.01-M IAT II
  • Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451 – System Administrator - Intermediate level or higher.

Nice To Haves

  • Linux Red Hat experience is a plus.
  • MCSA in a relevant field OR Microsoft Certified Associate in a pertinent area
  • VMWare Certified Associate (VCA)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions within a multi-tenant enterprise environment.
  • Maintain optimal performance and stability of the domain controller infrastructure and related servers.
  • Implement advanced security measures to protect the Active Directory environment.
  • Design, maintain, and administer Domain/Forest trusts and Directory/Forest/Domain replication.
  • Proficiency in using Active Directory troubleshooting utilities, PowerShell scripting, and diagnostic tools
  • Proficiency in Kerberos Authentication Protocols and Active Directory LDAPS/LDAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and related client operating systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Services.
  • Basic knowledge of DNS and its role in enterprise environments.
  • General understanding of the technology behind Domains and Trusts.
  • Experience managing production Windows Servers used to support multiple mission-critical initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Server 2019/2022.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory 2019/2022 domains in global organizations.
  • Must possess a solid understanding and experience with Kerberos Authentication Protocols and Active Directory LDAPS and/or LDAP.
  • Previous experience in an Enterprise Environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms and Office applications.
  • Familiarity with building, promoting, and managing multiple Domain Controllers.
