About The Position

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and improving IT infrastructure—ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency across systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement automation that enhances system performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and configuration management tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting engineering or development teams
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or AWS SysOps Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access across platforms
  • Implement and maintain system security measures, including patches, updates, and backups
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to deploy new tools and infrastructure upgrades
  • Automate routine administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
