About The Position

The Systems Administrator will promote the Safety Culture of Agri-service by attending all safety training, advocating and exemplifying safety and safe working habits, and following company safety policies and procedures. This role involves analyzing system logs, performing routine audits, applying updates and patches, managing user accounts, and ensuring network and computer security and performance. The administrator will also troubleshoot software, network, and mobile device issues, serve as an IT liaison, order and set up company cellphones and tablets, program and support the company phone system, recommend technological upgrades, lead department projects, learn and support business applications, train users, and manage inventory for software components. Additionally, they will maintain documentation, assist with Office 365 issues, troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems and software, and complete other job-related functions as needed. This role requires configuring and maintaining monitoring software and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in IT, technology, and/or business OR equivalent previous experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write, comprehend)
  • Must be willing to complete role specific training as requested by management
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory
  • Knowledge and experience with mobile devices
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange
  • Knowledge and experience with Office 365
  • Knowledge and experience with Azure
  • Knowledge and experience with Hyper-V
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system logs, and identify potential issues with network and computer systems
  • Perform routine audits of network and computer systems and software
  • Apply operating system updates, patches and configuration
  • Install applicable software on new and existing hardware
  • Add, remove or update user account information, reset passwords, etc.
  • Answer technical queries and assist users
  • Responsible for network and computer security
  • Responsible for network and computer system performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot any software and network related problems
  • Troubleshoot cellphone and tablet issues
  • Serve as IT liaison between the company, manufacturers, and tech services
  • Order, setup and distribute company cellphones and tablets
  • Program and support company phone system
  • Recommend technological upgrades
  • Lead department projects as needed
  • Learn and support business applications
  • Train users on the proper use of software
  • Management of inventory for software components
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system installations, configurations and upgrades
  • Assist with Office 365 software issues
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems, the Office suite, and other corporate software
  • Complete other job-related functions as needed
  • Configure and maintain monitoring software
  • Performs other duties as assigned
