About The Position
The Senior Systems Administrator will keep mission systems operational for a federal national-security mission, administering Linux and Windows environments at home and overseas. The role involves hands-on problem solving with local teams and supporting deployed operational environments worldwide. It is a full-time, on-site position in Chantilly, Virginia, with worldwide travel required. Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Hands-on Linux and Windows systems administration experience.
- Experience with operations and maintenance of enterprise information systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot across systems, applications, and networks.
- Willingness to travel worldwide to low-risk locations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with worldwide data center deployments.
- Experience in cloud data center environments.
- Certifications such as RHCSA, Security+, or MCSA.
Responsibilities
- Operate, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server and client environments.
- Monitor system performance and implement fixes and configuration changes.
- Support cloud and data center infrastructure.
- Deploy worldwide to support overseas operational environments.
- Work with network, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to resolve operational issues.
