JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. This position includes support in ongoing development and implementation of general and program specific COMSEC security processes and procedures to include the advisement, planning, implementation, training, oversight, monitoring, analysis, reporting and assistance in the execution of security operations for multi-service COMSEC support and duties relating to the day to day support of Special Access Programs (SAPs) and associated Facilities (SAPFs) at an Operation Test location. May be required to work 2nd shift and some weekends. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Providing a focal point for COMSEC requirements as needed for systems, including daily key management for all Services supported. Provide support for annual and monthly rekeying of classified systems, secure telephone equipment and all Air Vehicle systems. Provide training to COMSEC users and provide assurance that users assigned to the COMSEC account are in regulation to standards defined in AFMAN 17-1302-O. Provide support for periodic COMSEC inspections including the semi-annual COMSEC inspections, inventory and insurance that the all COMSEC users are compliant with all COMSEC regulations. Provide appropriate COMSEC clearances, briefings, and training as needed for the function and to receive associated keying material. System & Network Administration: Involves the deployment and administration of classified remote access networks. This includes the full lifecycle of user account management, from creation and initial login support (password changes, email configuration, and network share mapping) to the eventual decommissioning of accounts. Compliance & Documentation: Conducts regular, systematic inventories of all hardware and software assets to ensure adherence to compliance standards. Develops and maintains comprehensive technical documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the team. Technical Support: Provides troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for audio-visual (AV) systems in both classified and unclassified meeting environments. Manages the workflow of IT support issues through the helpdesk ticketing system, from initial reporting to resolution. Security & Logistics: Provides escort duties for personnel requiring access to secure areas. The System Administrator III must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access. The System Administrator must be able to obtain and maintain DoD IAM Level II certification (CompTIA Security+) certification within 6 months of date hired. The System Administrator must be able to work independently, as a member of a team, and as a small team leader. To complete each of these tasks and have very strong verbal and written communications skills.
