Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required
  • 5+ years in a similar technical role
  • End-user computing devices, peripherals, and software
  • VMware, ESX, vSphere, VDI (Horizon)
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, Certificate Authority, SharePoint
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Server compute and storage hardware
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, approachable way.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the credit union’s host computers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, servers, and storage hardware.
  • Partner with vendors and IT leadership on technical projects and problem resolution.
  • Support new system implementations through testing, training, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, lead problem-solving efforts, and oversee upgrades.
  • Maintain secure and reliable IT infrastructure through patch management, backup processes, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Provide cross-functional technical support, including assistance with phone system programming and LAN administration.
  • Contribute to IT audits and compliance, recommending best practices to reduce risks and strengthen cybersecurity.
