Nightwing is expanding our System Administration team. We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to enhance our existing technical team supporting the advancement of Digitization technologies in Warrenton, VA. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative, cloud engineer to join in and contribute to a team environment. The candidate will be part of a team that supports the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires a knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
  • Experience patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
  • Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solution, etc.
  • Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM).
  • Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
  • Experience using a scripting language.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
  • TS/SCI w Polygraph Required Day 1
