About The Position

The Vice President, Infrastructure & Enterprise Architecture provides enterprise leadership for technology infrastructure, architecture, and systems engineering across Baptist Health. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role sets the strategic direction for infrastructure platforms and partners with executive leadership to deliver a secure, resilient, and future‑ready technology environment that supports organizational growth and patient care. As a member of the IT Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President leads strategy and governance for enterprise architecture, data centers, networks, cloud and computing platforms, end‑user technologies, unified communications, disaster recovery, telehealth enablement, and IT risk management. This leader ensures technology investments align with Baptist Health’s multi‑year strategic roadmap and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive senior technology leadership experience
  • Proven success leading infrastructure and enterprise architecture in complex healthcare/ patient care environments
  • Strong strategic, financial, and people leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise infrastructure and architecture strategy, including a 3–5 year technology roadmap
  • Provide executive governance for architecture standards, lifecycle management, and major infrastructure programs
  • Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience planning
  • Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to advance clinical and business objectives
  • Partner with IT Operations and Applications leadership to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Direct IT risk management and infrastructure security controls
  • Build and lead high‑performing technical leadership teams
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and strategic vendor relationships
