About The Position

When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, a test engineering expert who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a test engineer on our team, you’ll lead your team as they work with testers, developers and engineers to evaluate software developed for the Army customer. You’ll oversee the creation of a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. Requirements

10+ years of experience with program management, including managing complex IT projects
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or IT
DoDM 8140.03 for Defensive Cyber Workforce (DCWF) Work Role 801 Advanced Level Certification
PMI Certification, such as PgMP or PMP Certification
ITIL 4 Foundation and Managing Professional Framework Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience with Agile methodologies and project tools
Experience developing and writing Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW)
Experience reviewing vendor proposals and vendor management to align contracts and SLAs
Experience with performance based and award fee contracts
Knowledge of DoD project or program management practices
Ability to lead large, multifunctional teams of 150+ personnel, work independently, and anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams
Master's degree in Project Management or IT
SAFe Program Consultant Certification
