About The Position

Socket is seeking a skilled System Technician to join our talented workforce. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mainline/service fiber lines and systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery to homes and businesses within our rapidly growing fiber network. You will play a key part in expanding and enhancing our infrastructure, contributing to the seamless connectivity of our community. A Day in the Life Your day starts with a safety check, gear prep, and a quick review of the day’s aerial fiber jobs. Then it’s out in the field installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead fiber lines — climbing poles or working from a bucket truck to keep the network running strong. You’ll strand, lash, tension, and secure fiber with precision, troubleshoot any issues, and make sure every line is clean, safe, and ready to deliver fast, reliable service. By the end of the day, you’ve helped keep entire communities connected.
