About The Position

As a System Software Validation Engineer at Intel, you will help ensure the functionality, quality, and reliability of Intel software solutions. You will design and develop validation environments, create validation plans, and debug software across the stack to support product development. Your work will contribute to improving software quality and automation and streamlining product release efficiency. The role is part of Intel’s engineering division, which develops, validates, and optimizes software across diverse platforms and technologies. The position is based onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in software development, integration, validation, and debugging across complex software systems.
At least 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: developing and optimizing kernel components, device drivers, and user-mode drivers for graphics, AI, and high-performance compute platforms.
At least 2 years of experience in C and Python.
At least 2 years of experience in software debugging, performance analysis, root-cause investigation, and problem resolution using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
At least 2 years of experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks, validation infrastructure, and continuous integration workflows.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Intel architectures, GPUs, AI accelerators, system software, and platform technologies.
Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformer architectures, Generative AI, and model lifecycle management, including training, fine-tuning, optimization, and deployment.
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including Operating Systems, Algorithms, Data Structures, Software Architecture, and Applied Mathematics.
Experience collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, architecture, and product organizations.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenVINO, ONNX Runtime, or OpenCV.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
