About The Position

As a Systems Security Engineer II/ ISSO, you will take on a supporting role in maintaining secure IT systems and support the ISSM in day-to-day operations and Risk Management Framework activities. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline.
2+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Experience with security frameworks and standards such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST 800-53).
Excellent communication and people skills.
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Ability to work in an office fulltime.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
Applicable Industry certifications such as Security + or Network +, etc.
