Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience as a System Operator.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities, follows through on commitments, and maintains the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Proactively identifies solutions, addresses concerns, and contributes to a positive service experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • SCBA Trained

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Operators are focused on System flow, clearing faults, running reshuffle profiles, and assisting with lost product.
  • Manage the team in line with NewCold company policy and ensure company and customer standards are met.
  • Supervise and train Operators to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Material Handling Equipment and Cranes.
  • Conduct operator observations on safety, GLA training, and monitor/react to GLA faults and Corax reshuffles.
  • Introduce and maintain a focus on health, safety, cleanliness, and quality in all aspects of warehouse activity.
  • Complete climb training and testing.
  • Facilitate communication on site, including daily shift briefs and handovers, and communication on MHE issues.
  • Communicate with the internal team on any MHE flow issues that may impact service or risk of failure.
  • Support the warehouse team in keeping the Rework Ipoint clear and moving.
  • Plan labor efficiently each week to achieve expected MHE performance and stay within budgeted resources.
  • Control and manage shifts, including holiday planning, absence management, performance management, and safety audits.
  • Partner with the WMS Super User on reshuffle profiles and reports.
  • Support maintenance, dispatch, pick floor, planning, and customer service teams to ensure the smooth running of the site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
