About The Position

Amentum is currently seeking a Systems Integrator Technician to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia. This role involves interpreting data, installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, personal computers, and terminals measuring and controlling equipment. The technician will apply expertise in programming procedures to complex programs, recommend redesigns, investigate and analyze program requirements, and develop programming specifications. This includes planning programming actions to produce interrelated products from diverse data elements and solving programming problems. The role also involves developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs, designing and implementing file and record interrelations within programs, and developing programs to solve major computer problems requiring analysis and control of various equipment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of experience with electronics or electronic control systems or have successfully completed two (2) years of formal training.
  • Working knowledge of various software; including, but no limited to Windows 2000, Window NT, Windows XP, RSLinx, RSLogix, lntellution, Microsoft Excel, Logic Master, Logix, API, and Al.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of network protocols and general knowledge of networks in general (e.g., resolution process that computers use, IP addresses, LM Host and Host files, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, net bias, and ethernet).
  • Working knowledge of Ladder Logic with the ability to troubleshoot, modify and program.
  • Must be able to wire and integrate different field devices to various types of PLC and program PLCs to accept and respond to those devices.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of field devices, such as valves, flow meters, transmitters, process control equipment, motor pump control circuits, level indicators, bubblers, and other devices, both analog and digital.
  • Must possess the tools of the trade.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Must have and wear hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-0S standards.
  • Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
