Requirements
- The candidate must have a working knowledge of Linux system environments. This system knowledge must include the ability to setup complex computer systems and a basic understanding of system error logs.
- Must be familiar or willing to learn how to work with test equipment, such as bus analyzers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Experience using hand tools or powered screwdrivers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing Hard Disk Drive (HDD) inventory spread across numerous customer teams which includes loading and unloading drives in customer systems.
- Responsible for tracking and recording inventory; providing general lab support, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
- Executes customer testing (including performance benchmarks and electrical tests), updating firmware, and reporting problems as they occur to the engineering team.
- Adheres to SIT lab test procedures and communicate written and verbal status.
