About The Position

Join our dynamic engineering team in Orlando, FL as a System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer. You'll play a key part in advancing innovative defense technologies by executing leading-edge system integration and qualification initiatives. Work hands-on in our modern onsite laboratory, collaborating with industry experts and cross-functional teams to deliver next-generation solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
  • At least 1 year of hands-on system integration or testing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, or Physics
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in test planning, execution, laboratory operations, and test analysis
  • Proven ability to develop test documentation, including plans, procedures, and reports

Nice To Haves

  • MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Integration and Test, with a focus on hardware and sensor integration
  • Expertise in test fixture design, procedure development, and Development Verification Testing (DVT)
  • Experience with Environmental Qualification and EMI Testing
  • Active SECRET (or higher) clearance
  • Strong cross-team communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced, multi-priority environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement subsystem and full-system integration/test plans and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain test equipment and laboratory facilities for key test events
  • Execute Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies during integration and testing phases
  • Evaluate engineering redesigns or upgrades for advanced missile systems
  • Lead laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with 6S standards and successful audit/inspection outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering Operations Directorate to foster seamless operational integration
