About The Position

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Integration Engineer (Level 3) to join a unique CACI team supporting the Integrated Broadcast Service Executive Agent in Reston, VA. In this position you will work on IBS R&D, modernization, and network expansion efforts affecting current and future capabilities of a global data broadcast system. This role requires a deep technical understanding of server environments, network technologies, and security protocols.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Systems with a specific focus on network administration.
  • 10+ years of technical experience/knowledge of installation, configuration, and security of server environments.
  • Direct experience with RHEL and MS Windows tools
  • Proficient working knowledge of network technologies and protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Security+ (CE) certification
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field desired.

Responsibilities

  • Design, integrate, and maintain IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.
  • Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain security as it relates to system requirements.
  • Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
  • Act as a key contributor in new infrastructure projects.
  • Work with network technologies and protocols to ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Collaborate with adjacent systems network team to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
  • Adhere to DoD 8570.01-M and 8140 requirements for system administration.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Generate reports/metrics on system performance and security status as required.
