Peak Energy is the first American venture to advance globally proven Sodium-Ion battery systems as the storage standard for the new era of renewable energy on a resilient grid. Sodium-Ion is cheap, readily available and safe, making it the leading contender in a rapidly evolving market. We are a team of engineers, operators, entrepreneurs, and partners driven by a shared ambition to set the new performance standard for renewable energy and grid resilience. This intern will support integration testing and functional verification of Peak Energy's energy storage systems, working across BMS, inverters, and other systems from batteries to power electronics. As Peak Energy scales its ESS testing infrastructure, this role helps build out the benchtop and HIL test capabilities needed to validate systems ahead of production. You'll work closely with firmware, design, and simulation teams, gaining exposure to the full test lifecycle – from procedure development to execution to reporting. This role suits a hands-on, curious engineer who's eager to learn by doing and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.
