The System Engineering Lead is responsible for defining, developing, and managing the features and functions for vehicle infotainment and displays. These systems include but are not limited to Navigation, Off-Road mapping, Routing, Energy applications, CarPlay, Android Auto, Casting, etc. This position bridges systems engineering, digital design, software development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure functional integration and compliance with vehicle-level requirements. The role involves supporting infotainment and display functions end-to-end, coordinating with cross-domain function owners for seamless customer experience and regulatory compliance. It requires full accountability for the design, development, integration, validation, and performance of infotainment-related vehicle features from concept through production and post-launch support. The position is also responsible for the development, integration, and validation of all assigned infotainment functions in accordance with the project timeline, ensuring completion of functional deliverables align with project milestones. This includes prototype builds, design verification, product validation, and vehicle launch gates. All function-level software, hardware, and test deliverables must be completed, reviewed, and approved by Scout at each milestone to enable seamless system integration and program readiness.
