The MADXR (Magnetic Anomaly Detection) is the latest generation of avionics system installed onboard surveillance airplanes and helicopters which allows for real time detection of submarines. The system has successfully demonstrated performance during test flights and is entering high volume production rate. Our engineering team is faced with the challenge of standardizing the product to enable mass production and prepare the next generation of systems. As a member of the Hardware Engineering team, the Systems Engineer will contribute to the qualification, delivery, and integration of the MAD‑XR (Magnetic Anomaly Detection) avionics system on customer aircraft platforms. The role focuses on transitioning the product from prototype to high‑volume production, improving test sequences, supporting production activities, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The position is based on site at CAE (8585 Chemin de la Côte‑de‑Liesse, Saint‑Laurent, Québec) and requires occasional travel to customer locations.
