About The Position

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to join our intel team. This candidate will apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The role involves interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. The candidate will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. This position is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, including Technical, Project, Enterprise, and Agreement Process Areas.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Nice To Haves

  • Developing and maintaining a Microsoft Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and configuration management for software development
  • Desired skills/background in program management to help with high-level presentations, documentation, and operations

Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.
  • Manage Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • Engage in Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Participate in Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) processes including Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • Handle Agreement processes such as Acquisition and Supply.
