About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring a System Engineer for an onsite role. This position is responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software. The System Engineer will monitor system performance and are expected to be creative and have a wide degree of latitude. This role typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
- 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Experience building highly available servers end to end
- Strong understanding of end to end stack including tools and agents
- Ability to coordinate technical experts to complete work
- Ability to problem solve and quickly switch tasks
- Ability to oversee a large number of server builds in various stages
- Ability to communicate with technical and non technical experts
- Ability to produce strong, clear status reporting for technical audiences
- Ability to deliver high level reports for leadership
- Ability to influence to achieve desired results
- Ability to lead and provide direction and tasks to engineers and technical experts
- Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, Websphere and Oracle
