Your tasks include engineering, developing, testing on test benches, integrating, validating, and deploying automated test equipment using LabVIEW, TestStand, and NI DAQ tools for Brose manufacturing plants in the Americas/Europe/Asia Regions. This includes working with hydraulic/pneumatic test equipment, servo test equipment, electronics and reflashing LabVIEW-based test equipment, robotic test systems, and LabVIEW applications-based EOLTs. The goal is to ensure the overall reliability, durability, and safety of Brose mechatronic door modules, door systems, seat systems, and motor drives. You will also define and implement test requirements and specifications based on customer and internal standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Technologies Engineering, or related.
  • Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer or related, engineering, testing on test bench, and deploying using LabVIEW, TestStand, and DAQ tools, automated test equipment for plant, to ensure reliability and safety of automotive component or system, or related.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, develop, test on test benches, integrate, validate, and deploy using LabVIEW, TestStand, and NI DAQ tools automated test equipment for Brose manufacturing plants in Americas/Europe/Asia Regions
  • Develop hydraulic/pneumatic test equipment (control opening/closing of fixtures)
  • Develop servo test equipment (validate motor performance)
  • Develop electronics and reflashing LabVIEW-based test equipment (for ECUs in brush/brushless motors)
  • Develop robotic test systems (ABB/Siemens robots to control assembly lines)
  • Develop LabVIEW applications-based EOLTs to validate end of line component electrical performance
  • Ensure overall reliability, durability, and safety of Brose mechatronic door modules, door systems (tailgates, frunks, window regulators, latch/e-latch & radar-based systems), seat systems, and motor drives including Cooling Fan Modules, ABS, Drivetrain Actuators, and Electric Oil Pumps
  • Define and implement test requirements and specifications based on customer and internal standards
