About The Position

Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required to be considered. Seeking a System Engineer who has experience in System Administration Automation, management and security compliance. Candidate must focus on maintaining system integrity, performance, and security for critical client/server environments, demanding strong problem-solving and communication skills. Candidate must be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer.

Requirements

• A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
• Six (6) years of systems engineering experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• OR A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
• OR A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience
• OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
• Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Security Compliance
• Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
• Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization
• Experience with Acitve Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching
• Communication and escalation of issues to management
