About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our growing team! The GATEKEEPER team is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide full Software Development Lifecycle support for the GATEKEEPER product, working alongside developers, QA, DevOps, and systems engineers to build and manage GATEKEEPER product installations for DoD customers.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
• An additional five (5) years of System Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree, for a total of fifteen (15) years
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts
• Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multitask and work independently to meet deadlines

• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of ICAM capabilities and integration
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms
• AWS Foundational-level certification
• RDS and relational database experience in the cloud
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• RDBMS experience (tuning, migration, optimization)
• Docker expertise
• Familiarity with Kubernetes a bonus
• Terraform and CloudFormation (CDK)

Responsibilities

• Support the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), collaborating with development and QA teams on system testing, validation, and performance tuning in support of production readiness
• Ensure system compliance with security best practices and organizational standards
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, testers, and product owners to align system behavior with business and technical requirements
• Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues
