About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team! Specifically, the Analytic Mission Integration (AMI) team is looking for a hands-on DevOps-minded System Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Linux system administration skills
• Ability to obtain SYS1 access

• Rancher
• VMware / vSphere
• Kubernetes, including the Kubernetes NetApp plugin

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot NetApp storage, VMware/vSphere virtualization, and Rancher-managed Kubernetes environments
• Perform Linux system administration in support of mission systems
• Contribute to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
• Develop, derive, and manage system requirements and allocate them to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
• Participate in interface definition, design reviews, CCB actions, and Integrated Product Teams
• Generate alternative system concepts and design solutions and define verification methods against requirements
• Provide rotational call-in support to back up the team as needed
