About The Position

Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Administrator serves as the SME for on premise identity and Access Management (IAM) platform which in this case is MIM (Microsoft Identity Manager). This role focuses on ensuring data integrity across disparate internal systems, maintaining the health of the MIM sync engine and managing the full lifecycle of internal identities without external cloud dependencies. Key responsibilities include MIM Engine Management (configuration of Management Agents), Identify Lifecycle Automation (Joner-Mover-Leaver process), Declarative Provisioning (maintaining Synchronization rules and attribute flow), Custom Extension Development (debugging custom DLLs using C#/.NET), and Data Reconciliation (auditing identity data).

Requirements

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• CWIP/C2Q Level II required within 90 days of start date.
• MS Identity Management (MIM) Tasks (Required)
• MIM/FIM Knowledge (MIM 2016 or FIM 2010 R2)
• Advanced PowerShell - using MIMWAL (MIM Workflow Activity Library) and for administration.
• SQL Server Admin - ability to connect to SQL instances/dbs, know how to backup.
• Windows Server Infrastructure - general knowledge of AD DS, DNS, Group Policy.
• C#/.NET - Ability to write and maintain custom code for Rules Extensions and workflow activities.
• MS SQL (Required)
• Strong SQL query script writing skillsets
• United States Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to hand flat file integrations is important / desired skillset (if don't know - ability to learn quickly).
• Experience or familiar with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD; PowerSyncPro; SailPoint or Saviynt) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of the MIM Synchronization Service including configuration of Management Agents (MAs) like AD, SQL, file-based extensions and LDAP sources.
• Understanding the "Joner-Mover-Leaver" process to ensure automated provisioning and de-provisioning across the internal network.
• Maintaining Synchronization rules and attribute flow within the MIM Portal and Sync Engine.
• Debugging custom DLLs using C#/.NET for complex logic that cant' be handled by standard rules.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure identity data in the Metaverse matches authoritative sources and downstream sources.
• OS/DB Patching/Maintenance

• Connect to SQL instances/dbs for MIM ones - FIMService and FIMSync.
