About The Position
HCT is seeking an interim System Director of Patient Safety for a health system in Arizona. The responsibilities include establishing structure and stability for the patient safety program, building and standardizing the approach to RCAs and serious safety events, and driving readiness for the upcoming Joint Commission triennial survey.
Requirements
- Bachelors required, Masters preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Patient Safety leadership experience in an acute care setting.
- Prior experience leading RCAs and establishing RCA processes.
- Prior experience establishing structure for a patient safety program.
- Prior JC survey preparation experience.
- A clinical background is a must.
Nice To Haves
- CPHQ, CPPS, or other related certifications are preferred but not required.
