The System Director of Medical Staff Services leads all credentialing activities for the successful addition to or renewal of Tower Health affiliated providers. This includes ensuring that provider credentialing is compliant with state and federal regulatory requirements, (Joint Commission, and Department of Health) criteria for timely credentialing in the network under delegated or non-delegated arrangements. The System Director is responsible for developing and/or maintaining credentialing related policies, bylaws, and procedures, as well as executing plans for continuous process improvement, monitoring performance, reviewing system needs, investigating solutions, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. The System Director provides the oversight necessary to ensure that the initial credentialing, and re-credentialing are completed timely and provider rosters accurately reflect each providers status to avoid compliance problems. #LI #READ
