About The Position

This role directs Anesthesia and Perioperative Services operations across all Munson Healthcare and contracted locations. Provides oversight of system anesthesia providers, Advanced Testing and Registration Centers. Leads system-wide standardization, best practice implementation, and coordinated anesthesia scheduling and staffing to ensure high-quality, efficient care.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in anesthesia services, surgical services, or a closely related clinical environment.
Proven ability to lead and manage change in a complex healthcare setting.
Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with organizational leaders, physicians, and clinical providers.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred, with a concentration in Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, or Nursing Administration.

Responsibilities

Oversees the budget, financial performance, and operations of Anesthesia Services.
Ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant anesthesia care across the system.
Leads and holds direct reports accountable for operational and performance goals.
Collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to support anesthesia services across procedural areas.
Partners with the Anesthesia Medical Director to standardize and improve anesthesia care delivery.
Develops recruitment, workforce, and staffing strategies to ensure efficient anesthesia coverage across the health system.
