About The Position

Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and other applications software using languages and infrastructures such as Java, JSF, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, SAPUI5, ABAP. Provide database and other architecture and systems engineering support. Working with customers and project shareholders to scope, estimate, and provide overall technical leadership to develop and implement software solutions. Responsible for ensuring implementations adhere to company policies. Support for the software quality assurance and software engineering life cycle including conceptual design, requirements definition, functional and computer system design, systems development and programming, implementation, testing, installation, and configuration management associated with enterprise level application software systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline OR Master’s degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline OR Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is a requirement for security clearance applicants.

Responsibilities

Work closely with functional and business team members, project management, enterprise architects, system engineers, and application developers to design and develop enterprise applications based on approved architecture and business requirements
Demonstrate innovation when designing applications and solving complex IT problems
Ensure solutions are well-engineered, operable, and maintainable while also ensuring adherence to defined project management policies, change management guidelines, and quality assurance processes
Work with IT project management to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget
