About The Position

The Systems Development Engineering Manager will develop, modify and execute policies to ensure the organization’s software applications are effective, efficient and provide a seamless experience for end-users. They translate, drive and implement the strategy and success of larger projects contributing to the strategic vision in software development projects and providing guidance for the entire development lifecycle. They oversee teams whose goal is to lead the design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and software components and establish objectives, policies and procedures. They frequently advise teams on moderately complex matters relating to the development, integration, and implementation of application components of web-centric applications.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing, modifying and executing policies for software applications.
  • Experience in translating, driving, and implementing strategy for software development projects.
  • Experience in guiding the entire development lifecycle.
  • Experience overseeing teams in design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure (servers, networks, storage systems, software components).
  • Experience establishing objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience advising teams on development, integration, and implementation of application components of web-centric applications.
