As a System Development Engineer, you will work with a talented team of engineers and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain scalable ERP extensions and modern web applications. You will leverage AWS technologies and modern frameworks including React, Node.js, and JavaScript to deliver high-quality solutions that delight customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
  • Experience with jQuery, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Ractive, Ember, or Angular, along with the knowledge of when to use them
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
  • Experience working with REST API based services, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience with web-based applications and HTTP
  • Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
  • Experience with front-end software development
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience with automation and any version control tools and experience demonstrating software engineering skills in a previous intership, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • 3+ years of building production software experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and ERP system extensions that support Supply Chain operations
  • Build and optimize modern web applications using React.js, Node.js, and JavaScript, ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Develop comprehensive technical specifications and architecture documentation that enable team scalability
  • Create reusable UI components and front-end libraries following best practices and design patterns
  • Translate product requirements, designs, and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code
  • Optimize application performance across multiple browsers and devices, focusing on user experience
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and implement secure authorization mechanisms
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement solutions that improve system reliability
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive engineering excellence across the team
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative solutions to the team
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features
  • Drive operational excellence through monitoring, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
