System Analyst
About The Position
The System Analyst will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and system components in both Windows and Linux environments. This role involves providing technical support for COTS and SaaS applications, gathering and documenting technical requirements, and recommending solutions for application and infrastructure changes. The analyst will support Windows Server 2016+ and RHEL 7+ environments, configure and support applications in Azure cloud infrastructure, and monitor systems to troubleshoot issues and remediate vulnerabilities. Key technologies include Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Server, XML, PowerShell, application monitoring tools, and SSO technologies (SAML, OAuth, OpenID). The position also requires working with network infrastructure, firewalls, LAN/WAN, system architecture, and creating technical diagrams. Collaboration with vendors, customers, and technical teams is essential for implementing projects and system changes. Experience with containerization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within cloud environments is also a requirement. Azure DevOps will be used for support activities.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience installing and configuring systems and applications on Windows and Linux environments.
- 5–7+ years of experience gathering requirements, analyzing technical issues, and recommending solutions.
- Strong experience with Windows Server 2016 or later and RHEL 7 or later.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, XML, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar application/system monitoring and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of SSO technologies including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
- Strong knowledge of networks, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and system architecture.
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and application/server support.
- 3–5+ years of experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure.
- Experience with Azure services, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Responsibilities
