About The Position

American Life Financial Partners, LLC, a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a customer service-focused, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as System Analyst I. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs). The System Analyst I helps support the FAST policy administration system and Firelight eApp systems. This role assists in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, supporting system implementations, and troubleshooting production issues. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of annuity products, insurance operations, policy administration systems, and electronic application workflows, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of business systems analysis, insurance operations, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting policy administration systems, eApp platforms, or insurance operations preferred.
  • Exposure to project work, testing, or requirements documentation.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with annuity policy administration platforms.
  • Experience supporting eApp or digital insurance application solutions.
  • Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
  • Insurance coursework, certifications, or industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with gathering, creating, and maintaining documentation, and validating business and system requirements.
  • Partner with business users to understand operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in requirements sessions, project meetings, and solution reviews.
  • Support impact analysis for system enhancements and product changes.
  • Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Validate system functionality against documented requirements.
  • Document and track defects through resolution.
  • Support production implementation and post-deployment validation.
  • Perform basic analysis of policy and application data.
  • Assist with data validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Create reports and documentation to support business and operational needs.
  • Work with technical teams to investigate data-related issues.
