About The Position

Athenix Solutions Group is seeking System Administrators for a variety of roles. These positions involve maintaining and providing technical support for diverse software and hardware systems, contributing to the defense of our nation. System Administrators will have the opportunity to work individually or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 years of relevant experience for Entry Level without a degree)
• Command scripting

Responsibilities

• Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, network infrastructure
• Setting up storage such as network-attached storage or remote storage
• Maintaining inventory of infrastructure hardware
• Implementing security best practices and applying security patches
• Providing IT break/fix support including Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Configuring and managing Linux operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
