About The Position

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for System Administrators for a variety of roles to maintain and provide technical support for diverse software and hardware systems, assisting in the defense of our nation. These roles can be individual or part of a team.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 years of relevant experience without a degree for Entry Level)
• 5 years of relevant experience for Basic Level
• 10 years of relevant experience for Mid Level
• 15 years of relevant experience for Senior Level
• Command scripting

Responsibilities

• Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, network infrastructure
• Setting up storage such as network-attached storage or remote storage
• Maintaining inventory of infrastructure hardware
• Implementing security best practices and applying security patches
• Providing IT break/fix support including Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Configuring and managing Linux operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
